2026 Conference-Request for Proposals NOW Open

Dear School Social Work Colleagues,

We are excited to announce that the 2026 California Association of School Social Workers (CASSW) Conference will be held at Bakersfield City College!

Our theme, “Voices for Justice: School Social Work Leading the Way”, highlights the vital role school social workers play in advocating for equity, inclusion, and systemic change. Our tagline, “Advocating Today. Transforming Tomorrow.”, calls us to action as leaders in justice-centered practice.

We invite you to submit a Request for Proposal (RFP) to share your expertise, research, and innovative practices. This is a unique opportunity to uplift your voice, connect with peers, and inspire others in our field.

Whether you are a seasoned presenter or a first-time contributor, a student, or a seasoned practitioner, we welcome proposals that reflect the diverse experiences and powerful work happening in School Social Work across California.
